This necklace features Matilde Poulat's/Ricardo Salas 'butterfly' brooch which has been repurposed into and pendant with vintage coral gemstones.
The brooch is adorned with natural turquoise and coral gemstones and an amethyst center stone. There are three dangles at the bottom, each with a coral cab.
The entire pendant measures 2" including dangles x 1 5/8". The amethyst stone is 18mm x 8mm. I place this piece 1980's. Hallmark with Matl, Mexico, 925, Salas.
The necklace features coral barrels/tubes that are 7mm x 3.4mm at the largest . The necklace is completed with sterling findings and a sterling lobster claw clasp. The necklace is 18" in length.
