Wm Kerr Green Man & Rhodolite Garnet Necklace
This 1890’s William Kerr, sterling, Green Man watch buckle has been repurposed into a pendant and paired with plum colored rhodolite garnet gemstones.
The Kerr piece was originally a small buckle used to hold a pocket watch ( I have the other side for a second one of these necklaces). It has a synthetic rhodolite garnet stone, set in a sawtooth bezel, at the mouth of the Green Man. I have added a ring and sterling bail and a ring on the bottom for the rhodolite garnet briolette that hangs from the piece. The original piece measures .75″ in length. With the bail and briolette, it measures 1 7/8″ x .75″.
The necklace is 2.5mm rhodolite garnet gemstones in a rich, feminine plum color that compliments the color of the set stone. The stones are faceted and sparkle with your every movement. 16″ in length, the necklace is finished with sterling findings and a sterling lobster claw clasp.
