Theodor Fahrner Flower Brooch & Aquamarine Bracelet

This gorgeous Theodor Fahrner double flower brooch has been slightly altered to hold twelve strands of glorious dark blue aquamarine. The brooch, circa 1937, is classic Fahrner gilded filigree, creating two flowers that have sterling stamen which are accented with marcasites. The piece is in excellent condition, with the gilding in great shape and all marcasites in place. It measures 2.75″ x 1.5″. There is an up and down side for viewing, which I have shown in the photos. The gemstones are very high quality aquamarine in a rare darker blue color than you would normally expect. The gems are transparent, watery and very well-cut. They range in size from 2.5mm to 4mm.

I chose the aquamarine for this piece because the contrast between the warmth of the gilding and the cool of the gemstones really looked spectacular.

Best for a larger wrist, over 7″ is size.
