This vintage Sanborns, handmade sterling cuff, is in good condition, showing a wonderful patina and only slight signs of wear. Sanborns is known for repoussé, floral cuffs, and other silver arts since the early part of the 20th century.
Two American brothers opened a drug store in Mexico City in about 1909, which became a department store. At one point, the Taxco master designer and silversmith, Frederick Davis, supervised the jewelry and fine arts department.
