This vintage, Matl style brooch has been repurposed to hold 15 strands of intense amethyst gemstones and 990 silver beads. This piece feels very ‘old Mexico’, very flattering and feminine when worn. The sterling brooch, ca: 1940, is in imitation of a Matilde Poulat piece. The central stone is a smooth, rectangular amethyst cabochon. There are three round coral beads and 31 round turquoise beads. The section with the coral beads is articulated and attached with rings. From there, 3 pendants dangle freely and move as you move. The brooch measures 2.75″ to the end of the dangling pendants. It is 1.5/8″ in width. The gemstone strands are approximately 1.25″ in width when worn. This piece just requires your wrist measurement to be completed with sterling French wire, crimps, and a locking slide tube clasp.
Please add your wrist measurement in the “Order Notes” during checkout.
