Description
Presented is a Matilde Poulat/Ricardo Salas ‘crown’ brooch that has been repurposed to hold 10 strands of amethyst gemstones. The brooch has 6 faceted teardrop amethyst stones and 3 pyramid amethyst stones. There are also 25 turquoise cabs. All stones are in good condition. The piece measures 3 1/8″ x 1 5/8″. I place this piece in the early ’60s from the electro-script and the MS-12. Matilde Poulat design, Ricardo Salas made. The gemstone strands are 4.5mm natural amethyst and match the stones in the brooch. The strands are 1.75″ in width when worn. This gorgeous bracelet is not for the timid! It’s best for a 6.5″ wrist or larger. All it needs is your wrist measurement to be finished with sterling French wire, crimps, and a locking slide tube clasp.
