SOLD: This vintage carnelian 800 silver brooch has been repurposed to hold 12 strands of sparkling champagne zircon.
This German brooch is made in the Peruzzi, Renaissance Revival style, with roses, leaves and drops surrounding the center carnelian stone. The brooch is c:1920.
If you are not familiar with zircon, it has a refractive value close to diamond, which makes it an incredibly sparkling gemstone. There are three shades of zircon making up this piece; white zircon, which resembles diamonds, light champagne zircon and pink champagne zircon. 990 silver beads accent the strands and have the same visual quality as the brooch.
